For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it? Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him, Saying, this man began to build, and was not able to finish. Or what king, going to make war against another king, sitteth not down first, and consulteth whether he be able with ten thousand to meet him that cometh against him with twenty thousand? Luke 14:28-31

There is nothing that the Christian is supposed to do that has not already been done. Many of us have been able to establish the right purpose. Unfortunately, some have the right purpose but a wrong plan.

A plan is a method of achieving a purpose you have discovered. Will it surprise you to know that God planned when creating the world? Genesis one (1) gives us an account of the creation.

Whereas He could have used a day to create the world, God used six (6) days. Why couldn't He simply have spoken the word and made everything appear in one day?

If you have discovered a purpose, develop a plan to achieve your purpose by answering the following questions:

# What am I going to do? (Goals)

# How am I going to do it (Action Steps)

# When am I going to do it? (Scheduling Actions steps)

# With whom am I going to do it? (Personnel Requirement)

# What is going to be the cost of doing it? (Budgeting)

# Who are you accountable to? (Monitoring and Evaluation)

Jesus pointed out the importance of planning in the above scripture and it is important for every achiever to embrace it.

Dear Lord, I am enjoying all-round success in all endeavours because the plans you have towards me gives me hope and a future in Jesus' name. Amen.
