The first man is of the earth, earthy; the second man is the Lord from heaven.

As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.

And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

(1 Corinthians 15:47-49 KJV)

There are birds of the earth and also birds of the sky.

Once upon a time, there was an eagle who was born among chickens. They all grew up together and did everything together. As a matter fact, the eaglet slept even in their coo. On one faithful day, as the eagle was moving together with the chickens it saw a bird flying higher in the sky whose features and characteristics was just like it. It realized that it could also fly higher than the distance of the chickens. It flew from their midst and never returned to be with them.

Your natural birth can be likened to the chicken but your spiritual birth made you an eagle (a bird of the sky and not of the earth)

Don't allow the chickens around you to keep you stunted.

Your second birth is from heaven giving you what it takes to live the life of God.

What gave birth to you as a Christian is God's word. (1 Peter 1:23) You're from God's DNA. This was deposited in you the very moment you gave your life to Christ, you assumed the nature of the second man.

Don't allow the pleasures and circumstances around you to change the life God has put in you.

You are born again to live a heavenly life, get on the word of God and know who you are, whose you are and what you have in Christ Jesus. Hallelujah!

Word Confession

Dear Heavenly Father, I am blessed to receive this living word from you today. I am born of your word, which has given me a higher life to soar and live in triumph every day in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
